If you are visiting Sri Lanka as a Tourist or on other purpose contact the nearest Srilanka Consular office to get information for your visit. Colombo International Airport is now opened for the visiting Tourists for their Holidays. On Arrival visa is not available at the Colombo Airport. It is not necessary to wear face masks in Sri lanka.
People can have cheap calls and cheap data package that is offered in Sri Lanka. Incoming calls and text messages are free. Call your office, friends and relatives through this phone and tell them about your new phone number. This new Sri Lanka phone number will save you lot of money while you are on tour or doing your business here. Even if you don't have the call minutes or data, your phone will provide free incoming calls and free incoming text messages till the end of the contract period. Otherwise you may have to pay high priced roaming charges or have to depend on phone cards. You can get free Wi-Fi while you are inside of the Colombo Airport.
Visitors to Sri Lanka are not allowed to bring any landline phone, CDMA phone or satellite phone with them. If you accept any of this connection, you can make outgoing and incoming calls along with sending and receiving SMS text messages through the roaming facility. You can access your Data plan too through the Roaming facility. Your monthly bill be sent to your home address as usual with the Roaming Bill.
Provide your passport and register to get your own local SIM card as tourist pack at the Colombo airport from any of the local carrier. The tourist SIM is valid for one month only and you can extend it as much time as you want.
