Each corner of the streets in Sri Lanka Towns are used to have mobile phone shops to reload money to your phone, to buy accessories, ringtones, movie clips, MP3 and video songs or can repair your phone while you waiting there. There are many authorized vendors to repair your mobile phone with valid guarantee cards.

Although the world famous iPhone series like iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 is not officially available for sale in Sri Lanka. They are sold by private people through the newspaper classifieds. You can find iPhone unlocking service and iPhone upgrade to new iOS too done for a service fee.

While the lowest mobile phone price in Sri Lanka starts from Rs.2, 990/- to 125,000/-. The market is flooded with 3G phones too and they are now available from Rs.20,000/- onwards.
