There are three major Sri Lankan phone service provider's telephone directories available in printed book format. Also these phone directories available online too. There is no mobile phone users' directory available in Sri Lanka.
If you are a foreigner there are many ways to call back your home. There are post offices that provide assistance to you to make overseas and local calls. Privately owned communication centers too provide IDD and Net Calls and Internet calls for a reasonable price. All over Sri Lanka road side and important places have call booths where you can make calls using the coins or prepaid cards. These call booths also provide facility to send SMS messages to local and international phones.
